Last june of this year, we went to the surf capital of the Philippines -- Siargao!

unlike most of the tourist in the island we ditched the tourist traps and instead went on our own adventure around the place. We visited Malinao beach and took some photos and relaxed. There's almost no visitors here, only locals chillling and having their picnics. Kiosks are available near the beach if you and your friends would want to stay and loosen up.

For our next destination we journeyed our way to Pacifico Beach Resort, located at San Isidro. It is a couple of minutes away from Magpupungko Beach and Rock pools.

Pacifico Beach Resort offers surfing lessons also, the great thing about the area is it's not yet as crowded like in cloud 9. When we went there, only 2 people were learning how to surf. Great for beginners! Also, unlike in could 9, when you'll have a wipe out it's mostly sand. Food there is great and filling, the best after travelling from General Luna which is almost an hour away.
The rest of our stay in the island we spent it mostly in General Luna trying out different restaurants in the area and asking some locals where good food is at.

Our visit on the island was short and we hope to come by again soon!
A short film during our stay in Siargao! apologies for the vertical video, it was intended for the IGTV
