BEST EVER FOOD REVIEW SHOW IN DAVAO

Watching food review shows has always been a part of our daily routine, it inspires us to keep up with our micro blog in Instagram and The Best Ever Food Review Show is one of our favorite channels to tune into. When we saw Sonny's Instagram Story, it lit up a spark of hope that maybe somewhere, randomly, we will be able to see him on the streets of Davao doing his thing; eating and reviewing uncommon food from all around.

There was no way in this lifetime that he'd be inviting us to join, after all we are newbies, but, fate was too kind. We took a leap of faith and replied to his Instagram story and before we know it! He invited us for dinner the moment he landed in Davao and briefed us about their whole week's plan and asked us if we wanted to join him on the first day of filming. We were too nervous and mesmerized at the same time, all we could do was to say YES! Never have we ever imagined talking to him, even more so, to be part of his show!

We were invited to take part in the fist episode of the series. Of course, what would a visit in Davao be if you won't get a chance to taste the Durian.

The first order of business was to go to the Magsaysay Fruit Market and start filming there. We were always curious on how big a YouTuber's production could go when making a content and how they go about their shoot. Being able to see Sonny in person and in action; thinking of ideas, directing his thoughts to his videographers -- Khai and Brett, dropping comedic lines during the food review and just being himself on or off camera, it felt so surreal!

Next stop was in Crocodile Park for the durian ice cream mixed with crocodile meat, this day couldn't get any better! Creamy and rich in taste. We were also able to witness the preparation of Lechon Crocodile.

Lastly, we ended the episode with a trip to SM Lanang featuring Selera Restaurant for the Seafood Durian Curry. Watch out for Sonny's video review!
