Aliments Makkhan, one of the few eateries here in Davao offering Halal prepared food from different parts of South East Asia. An Asian fusion inspired restaurant serving Filipino food all the way to Vietnamese dishes.

On our visit we had the Beef Coconut Curry. The serving is good to share and filling. Tenderness of the beef is on point, no piece of meat is chewy and the flavor is of high quality. the curry is creamy and flavorful. I just can't have enough of it.

A traditional dish usually served wrapped in banana leaves, packed with rice and boiled chicken seasoned with the same ingredients as chicken adobo. Here in Makkhan, they deconstructed this dish. ditching the wrap for a more convenient dining experience all without compromising the taste.

Maggi seafood curry mixed with all kinds of protein like shrimps, fish, squid and etc. The soup was nice and very familiar almost like instant noodles. The noodles have a good grip on the sauce giving a fuller bite.

Now for the drinks, we had the rose water essence, sweet and creamy. balanced and quite refreshing. Good on a hot day.

Lemongrass Tea, thirst quenching and cleanses the palate for the next dish you will have.

As of writing this entry, Makkhan is currently located at Ruby street in Marfori, inside the container-van building. A small place that feels like home in some way, very comfortable to spend your lunch with friends
